If you've been following me for a while you know that I normally gravitate towards peach or orange blushes but recently I declared that this greyish-pink blush is my new go-to blush for winter.
Dusty Rose by NYX is a very inexpensive drugstore blush which is distributed mainly in North America although there is an NYX official UK website where you can get it from [link]. I got mine from a Beauty Trade Show here in London.
In terms of the colour this is a pale pink with more grey than red as undertone.
The finish is matte but there is a slight natural finish that resembles the skin. What I mean is that it's not chalky matte. It's gorgeous.
Surprisingly, this blush is very pigmented so I tap the brush very softly against the product and I blend it on my hand first just in case.
I apply it with an angled Crown Brush similar to a MAC 168 brush.
NYX is very generous with their product so you get 5.2 grams! Huge.
I'm in love with this blush. I describe the effect as the perfect winter cheek flush. It's so natural and flattering that I can't go wrong with this!
