This was the look I went for on Friday evening. The plan was going to a pub in town with the girls like I do every Friday. It's a relaxed girly night but we all make and effort.
I used one of MAC's pressed pigments. For some reason when I saw them at the counter I did not think much of them. I was too carried away by the sculpting creams that the pigments were like a second thought and I then said no.
But funny enough, after the collection was way under way I started seeing videos and posts from other beauty junkies showing them and seriously they just looked too good to miss. I my first impression I had about them was a negative because they were marketed for the face (?) from what I remember. But they are GORGEOUS on the eyes.
They are PACKED with big reflects that do not blend. All the reflects in all the shades are silver/ white so be prepared to get a bling look with them. The shades are all in the brown family. I got 5 of them but I only tired the one I'm using here so far. I forgot I had them!
Estee Lauder Maximum Cover Foundation (shades 5 & 9 mixed) mixed with Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream for the face.
MAC Pro longwear concealer in shade NW15 under the eyes. This shade is a bit too light for me actually.
Illamasqua loose powder in shade 200
Painterly Paint Pot by MAC
Quarry e/s by MAC all over the lid
Espresso e/s by MAC on the crease only
Pressed pigment by MAC in shade Spot Lit on the lid only and mixed with Liquiset by Ben Nye (it's like a fixating mixing medium)
Maybelline gel liner in Brown on my top and lower lash line as well as for tight line.
Rimmel Sexy Curves Intense Black Mascara on my top lashes
Clinique lower lash mascara on my lower lashes
Espresso e/s to fill in the brows
Dior Diorskin Nude bronzer in shade 05
N7 nude lip liner to line my lips and to colour all over the lips
N7 lipstick in 55 Glace only on the centre of the lips
On my nails I had Barry M's Dusky Mauve which I reviewed on my last post.
My current favourite ring is like an eternity ring with all purple stones all around it. It's silver and the stones are Amethysts.
I also paired the look with sparkly earrings in the shades or organe and yellow
I'm not entirely sure the orange shadow suits me but it was nice wearing it knowing that my eyes would sparkly every time I blinked.
The lips lasted quite well and I'm loving using just lip liners mostly to colour the lips at the moment.
