Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Fervent - Swatches + Thoughts

Hi ladies,

The only way I can describe this pigment is as UNIQUE!
Yes, as cliché as it sounds it is.

It's probably like a bit of Club e/s by MAC but glittery! Yes- glittery.
How gorgeous can this be? VERY!

The packaging is the typical Illamasqua packaging.
The clever thing is that there is a stopper that goes right in on the pigment outlet so when you open it it's all neat and tidy.
You get 1.3 grams of products- not a lot really. I wish they gave us more!

This pigment is very hard to photograph.
As it has a duo chrome characteristic you either get one or the other.
It's basically a beetle green with a red brown undertone. The bonus is the glitter!
It's not a cheap and chunky glitter it's more like the soft, delicate and expensive looking one.
The glitter looks like pewter and green at the same time. It gives the entire shade a new dimension.
Just so pretty!
The pigment itself is very finely milled and it's like delicate to the touch.

I personally never came across a pigment this interesting and pretty. It's like tridimensional with the green, brown-red and the sparkles.
I would just use it on it's own. You don't need anything else as the brown will work as your crease colour.

I normally need some kind of adhesive to pigments and glitters and the one I always go for is the Too Faced Glitter Glue.

I absolutely love this pigment and I'm very happy I picked it up.

I recently hauled badly at Illamasqua *couldn't resist the sales* so I will be doing detailed reviews on the products I picked up.

What is your favourite pigment?
