NOTD: Sally Hansen 220

Hi ladies,

Happy Wednesday! Hope you're all well.

Just a quick post to share a new discovery- nude nails!

I've always been in two minds about nude nails. they can look dead looking or super cool and trendy.
Let's hope I've achieved the latter! ;)

I was desperate to get my hands on Essie Fiji ( a more butter looking colour) so failing that I decided to pick up this little fella: Sally Hansen 220 Cafe Au Lait.

It was my first Sally Hansen purchase. The bottle is huge! The brush is standard. I paid £6.99 for it at a local pharmacy.

I applied about 2-3 coats here to get the effect/coverage I like.

What do you think? Dead-like looking or cool bang-on-trend?

I like this - the sheen is nice. Much better than essie Fiji which I rushed to get when it came out and then regretted immediately! It's a streaky nightmare to apply which ends up looking so thick and cakey to get the damn stuff to be opaque! I tried 3 times and just had to admit defeat and toss it - Shame as it looked so nIce in the bottle! X ps try bourjois rose lounge - much easier to work with (3 coats needed tho)

I like nude nails. They look polished without being overdone. This looks like a great nude color!
