Review and Swatches: Laura Mercier Peach Mosaic Shimmer Bloc

Hi ladies,

Following on my Laura Mercier Series let's have a look today at the

Peach Mosaic Shimmer Bloc

I wanted this product for ages!

But because I have like 200 (yes, I'm exaggerating) peach cheek products I thought it would be yet another blush to stack in my drawer as part of my constantly growing collection.
Yes, cheek products, especially peach/coral ARE my thing.

Ladies...I couldn't resist it any longer and I had to make it mine!
I know..I'm weak. I admit it.

This is what the pan and the packaging (again typical LM packaging) look like:

Here are some finger swatches:
L-All the colours (equal quantities) swirled together
R-All the colours swatched individually
Hand swatches (different lights and flashes) of the individual colours:
They can be used as e/s too I was told.
Amazing as illuminators on the tear duct area.

And a swatch (right) of all the colours (equal quantities) swirled/swatched together in different lights and flashes:

My verdict?

You guessed it..yes I love it!

The good:

♥ It's super soft and creamy.

♥ Amazing colour pay off! This bloc is packed with pigment so it won't let you down. Also, you only need a soft swirl with the bush and you will pick up enough product for a visible and pretty effect.

♥ You can customise it! It's very easy to just dab the brush on the colours you prefer of just add a bit more of the coral, or the white, or the dark bronze...it just depends on your preference.

♥ It super finely milled. Think Dior Amber diamond. This is very similar in consistency!

♥ It will last you a long time. You only need a little bit.

♥ It can revive your entire look but giving you that desired glow that we are all going for. Especially after a long working day!

♥ The quality is outstanding. It makes you feel that tiny bit extra special knowing that you have a good product on your face.

♥ It's worth every penny!

The bad:

The price. It's £31 in the UK. Yes, LM products are not cheap!

Hope this was helpful.

You are the QUEEN of shimmery face products! I'm not generally into shimmery cheek products until I see you feature one on your blog and I start lusting after them! This is seriously a gorgeous product, but LM is even more expensive in Australia so I'd probably give it a miss.

Haha, throughout the post I was thinking "Yes, this sounds great! Oo, nice swatch.. The texture sounds lovely." Then I got to £31 & I had a mini heart attack! I think that's why I only have 1 thing by LM. It's so pricey! Really beautiful though - do you think it's a peachier version of Amber Diamond?

Ok, so I LOVE this product, but it's been discontinued in Australia. Any suggestions for a good, peachy, shimmery replacement?
