Testing Umberto Giannini Hair Prodcuts

Hi ladies,

I'm a bit busy sorting some work stuff so sorry I'm not posting as normal.

On my recent visit to Waitrose I spotted an offer of 3 products for £10 on Umberto Giannini hair products. They also had Toni & Guy and some other brands too.

I've never tried this brand before so I took advantage of the offer and picked up some things.

I picked up:

-Overnight Magic Hair Repair (Spa Rituals)
-Silky Curls Smoothing Balm
-Moisture Replenishing Hair Mask (Spa Rituals)

I am currently testing all these products and so far:

✖ I'm not sure about the Overnight Magic Hair Repair. It smells incredibly nice but after following the instructions on the next day/morning my hair was opaque and looked kind of dirty. Not a great look. I'm still playing with it so I'll give you my final thought soon.

♥ I really like the Moisture Replenishing Hair Mask. It has the same smell as the Overnight Magic Hair Repair (they are both part of the Spa Rituals collection) and my hair feels very soft and silky afterwards. It's not a miracle product yet but it's nice.

✎ I still need to try the Balm but I haven't styled my hair yet. Maybe this Friday or Saturday.

I have been to Waitrose again and got 3 more products as the offer is still available so I'll test the new ones when I'm done with these.

I'll keep you updated.

Have a lovely day people.

I've used the overnight hair repair in the past and do agree with you - it can leave your hair looking a bit grubby!
I'd love to hear what you think of the curl balm as my locks can get a bit out of control at times! xx

I've tried all of these products. I also didn't like the overnight balm - at all. It made my hair feel drier, but still waxy. I tried it a few times and still got the same result. I do like the mask and I love the smell, it smells like a spa! The curl balm is great because I have curly hair but the curls tend to drop the next day, so it gives me nice waves.
prettyinthedesert
