If you are like me, a make up addict, then you will most probably use lots of false eyelashes.
I have about 20ish pairs and I love them all regardless of their price.
I also have the disposable ones which I throw after 1 use but most of my false eyelashes get a bit of a special treatment and get a wash every now and then.
How I do it:
1-Put some hot water in a bowl and add some generous drops of washing up liquid*.
2-Put all your dirty eyelashes in the bowl and leave them to soak for a while. But not too long.
3-Start rubbing gently! I use cotton buds and my nails to rubb off the glue.
4-Look at the stuff that was stuck to the eyelashes. I will make you wash them more often.
*Washing up liquid is ideal to separate wax, grease and cream products.
(Most of your make up is wax or grease based)
I also find that this combo (hot water and washing up liquid) turn the clear glue (DUO) a white colour so I can see exactly where the glue is.
These were from the Pound Shop so no surprise here.
This cleaning up process does take a bit of time especially if you use a good quality glue.
Just relax, play some nice music and get rubbing (gently).
Willow found the process very boring so she decided to take a nap instead
Hope this was helpful.
How do you wash or treat your false eyelashes?
