Just a quick one to show you how I depotted my eyeshadows to put on my Z-Palette.
I'm sure you already know how to do it.
-Rubbing alcohol (I used a gel base...it works the same) £1 from the Pound Shop.
-A sharp and pointed tool (a metallic nail file)
-Cotton buds £1 from the Pound Shop
-Magnets (I used a magnetised shopping lists for the fridge door that I never used)
And this is how:
1-Set the straighteners to a high heat (I set mine at 150 degrees and it was enough).
2-Place the eyeshadow on the straighteners. Have a look if you can separate the pot from the part that has the pan before placing it on the straighteners as some eyeshadows come apart and it's easier. Also, if you have a chunky e/s pot like the pink on (second photo) is also good if you place the e/s upside down so the heat will touch the sides of the pan and will eventually heat up.
3-Once the pan is hot turn it upside down and put some pressure at the back of the e/s with a pointed object to push the e/s loose. Do not touch the pan directly as it will be very hot!
4- The glue stuck to the pan will be different across the brands. If it is chunky and thick try to remove as quickly as you can while its hot.
5-Use rubbing alcohol and a cotton bud to remove the excess glue.
6-Stick a label with the name of the eyeshadow at the back of the pan.
7-Stick a magnet (if the pan is not magnetised already!)

Hope that was helpful
