I recently purchased a Z-Palette from a UK blog Sale.
I was so exited when I got it!
I've always seen American girls rave about them and I know that the big one like this one (together with other smaller ones) are now available at PAM
in the UK at £18.95 a pop!
I managed to get it for £14!
It was in immaculate conditions so it looked like new.
So, yesterday I did a bit of space detox and I depotted a lot of my misc e/ss into my new
Z-Palette and this is what it looks like at the moment:
The big round ones are from MUA but there's also some Urban Decay, 17, Famous, Rimmel, N7, Kryolan and MaxFactor.
I managed to depor about 19 eyeshadows which gave a nice breath to my e/s drawers.
The palette has a very strong magnet (the whole floor/bottom and the sides are basically a magnet) but the tricky thing is that you will need some magnets to attach to the depotted pans. Some brands (MaxFactor, Urban Decay, Bourjois and some Rimmel) do use magentised pans but a lot of brands don't so you need to do a bit of further DIY.
Also, you will need some labels to add the names of the e/ss at the back
(f you can be bothered that is).
I'm so happy I got this palette. And yes, I did the CD DIY project before and it looked hideous!
Now I can see and use more of the products I have by just having a look at my palette stand because they are all there looking at me thanks to the transparent cover. Clever!
I know that you can take the dividers from the MAC palettes and do something similar but I don't like that. I kind of like the dividers and how the MAC palettes look.
I will show you on another post how I depotted them.
What do you do with your single misc eyeshadows?
Do you go for customised palettes?
Do you have any depotting project you are proud of?
