With a horrible day ahead (rain and more rain) I decided to lighten up your mood by letting you know that there is another GWP (gift with purchase) around.
This time is from Elizabeth Arden.
And the products are mainly skin care.
Initially I only wanted the Eight Hour cream Collection (set of 4 creams) which is now on offer for £32 which is a total bargain!
See more details from my previous post here
But the lady told me that if I purchased one make up item I would get a skin care GWP.
Could I say no?.....mmm...no!
As my mum's birthday was coming soon I decided to buy something for her instead.
She has very similar skin tone than mine and she gets a very golden colour in summer so I was confident I would choose something that suited her.
The lady obviously wanted to sell me something expensive but after having a look at the more affordable items she showed me this lovely cream foundation compact on offer at £13.
So, I went for that.
It's the Flawless Finish cream make up.
Sorry, I'm not swatching it as it's not for me.
I'll ask my mum what she thinks about it and I'll come back to you.
So, after I chose the make up item I could then choose the GWP.
There are two options.
Both are skin care products but I think one is for more mature women.
I chose the one for youngish but getting old soon girl GWP.
As you can imagine, that horrible hand bag is going straight to the charity shop.
It's such a cheap leather and the shape is just wrong.
-Intervene 3-in-1 daily cleanser exfoliator primer
-Intervene radiance boosting moisture cream with SPF 15
-Prevage night cream (apparently this is one of her best sellers)
-Prevage anti ageing serum (That will be handy :-P)
-7 or 8 Serum capsules
-A travel size Ceramide mascara
-A small perfume which is not bad. Not sure which one is it.
I will definitely be covered with all these creams so not buying any more skin care products for now.
I'll let you know what I think about them as I start using them.
I believe this GWP will be around for a while...definitely until Christmas I think.
I got mine at John Lewis in London but just double check with your local stores.
Have you tried any of these creams?
What do you think about them?
Any recommendations from Elizabeth Arden products?
