I just had to give in!
It was shouting at me yesterday and oh well...I had to buy Double Wear Foundation
by Esteé Laurder
Don't judge me...we all have weaknesses.
I wanted this foundation for about 5 months I would say but for some reason I never got it.
I did get other foundation while deciding (Mac Face & Body and Kiko make up) so I just said to my self...sodddd it and get it woman!
It helped that it was the perfect moment this week because when you buy two products they give you a really good GWP (gift with purchase) which I believe will end this weekend!
I got mine at Boots but maybe double check if they do the same GWP in department stores as well.
So, here's the lady:
I'm the shade Tawny at the moment.
- 15-hour staying power. Flawless all day.
- This worry-free, long-wearing makeup stays fresh and looks natural through heat, humidity, nonstop activity.
- Won't change colour, smudge or come off on clothes.
- Feels lightweight and comfortable.
- Now the flawless look you see in the morning is the look you keep all day.
And to qualify for the GWP I decided to go for this Double Wear bargain set:
All Double Wear products (to keep with the theme) for only £20.
Double Wear Mascara (full size)
Double ended Double Wear liners (black and brown)
and a Double Wear concealer (one shade available I think. A kit or miss on this one)
A handy long and thin bag..maybe for brushes?
I thought it was such a good value for money.
And the amazing GWP:
A close up:
The quad I got:
( I got the one with the purple :-P but I think the other option is kind of all nudes and browns)
So, the total money spent here was £45 and I got all of this!
I think that's clever shopping.
I'll let you know what I think about the foundation but I want to road test it for a week or so first.
We'll see if she's worth the £25.
I will also update you on the double wear products. I'm very intrigued about the black liner.
From the GWP what really intrigues me is the Advanced Night Repair but I'm not sure that little sample will give me a real taste of the treatment. We'll see.
Have you benefited from any GWPs?
Let us know...before they finish!!!
