So, here I am with things I'm liking right now.
(no specific time/month attached to them)
Rose Gold Blush by Sleek.
This might be a dupe for Orgasm by Nars?
I got this one on Friday and I've been using it since.
This is a gorgeous girly pink/coral with gold shine all through it.
I love love loveeee it...it's very very similar to my beloved Style by Mac (favourite blush ever!)
I bought it for only £3.99 at Superdrug.
Close ups and Swatches:
And on my cheeks:
Blush in Rouge by MeMeMe.
(Yep..this is the Coralista by Benefit look-a-like apparently)
And here are some swatches of the Rose Gold (Sleek) and Rouge (MeMeMe) next to each other.
As you can see, the Sleek one is more coral and gold and the Rouge one is more pink, pearl and sheer.
I love both of them.
(L Rose Gold and R Rouge)
Contour Kit in Medium by Sleek
This contour powder gives me the most natural contour I've ever seen.
It's completely matte and a little goes a long way.
I've used it about 5 times and I love it.
I have the famous Soleil Tan de Chanel and the Barry M contour pressed powder and unfortunately they are both too orange-muddy looking on me.
I will use them anyway, especially the Chanel one but this one by Sleek is by farrrrrr the most suitable for my skin tone.
Talking about skin tones, please be aware that Sleek face products are more targeted to the darker ladies so even though they call the contour kits fair and medium...they will be a bit dark if you are very pale.
I am a N20 (at the moment) in Mac terms and I find the Medium is right for me...but I use it very very lightly.
Contour Brush by Crown Brushes.
I've used it every day since I got it. Such a great value for money.
It's brilliant for application and for blending.
See my comparison with Mac 138 brush here.
N7 Skin Illuminator (peach one).
I had this one for ages and even after trying and loving other products I always come back to this one.
It's just right for my skin tone and it looks super natural.
I hated the packaging and the horrible brush that came with it so I depoted it.
I normally apply it with my fingers..you only need a tiny drop.
Kryolan cake eyeliner in black.
This one is particularly black and the good thing about this product is that you choose the thickness/ consistency!
I mix it with a waterproof mixing medium or with a sealing gel. You can mix it with water but it will not be waterproof.
Just add a tiny drop of your miximg medium into the pan and swirl your brush.
I tend to use a 209 brush by Mac or a smaller one.
I'm trying more products at the moment so keep tuned for more posts like this.
