Just met with some friends yesterday and we went for a coffee.
Nothing too glamorous.
When I was sitting at my lovely dressing table wondering what look to go for I saw my abandoned Delft Paint Pot by Mac...so I had to use it.
Paint Pots are such a great product!
I use them as eyelineres (I've used them on my waterline and it was finde), I use them as colour bases (their main use), I use them as primers, as highlighteres (think Rubenesque and Bare Study), etc.
But the way I used it yesterday was to create a smoky look with just one colour!
Apply most if the colour on the lid and then with what's left on the brush create a smoky look taking the product to the crease and outer corner.
This is the look I went for:
I look really serious here :-(
Colour Stay mixed with Photoready (both by Revlon)
Dainty Blush by Mac on my cheeks
Delft Paint Pot By Mac (all over the lid and a bit on the lower lash line)
Black gel liner by Bobbi Brown on upper and lower lash line. I did a tiny flick.
Green mascara by Estee Lauder (L/E)
From Brick Lane market.
They were only £4. Love them!!
And the outfit I went for:
Surprise surprise...t-shirt, long cardi, thin belt and leggings.
Jewelled sandals from Warehouse (I think)
The nail polish is Mushroom by Barry M.
I hope you liked it.
