Women-All united for freedom!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share another article from my Wartime Scrapbook.

This time I chose an advertisement for Tampax.

In 1941 Tampax took advantage of women's roles in the war to show them as liberated users of their product.

(click to enlarge and read better)

I'm surprised about the words they used such as "natural disabilities"...what are they talking about? as if we cannot do anything else during "those days". Nonsense.

There will be more articles to come :-)

If you missed my first instalment about long wear make up in the 40s' have a look here

See you soon.
