I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
In this post I wanted to share this brilliant find with you.
It’s no less and no more than a storage box! But it’s probably the nicest one for make up that I’ve seen around. Maybe you’ve seen it before as it’s now a few of us (make up addicts) who are using it for the same purpose.
It’s from Wh-Smith and you can find it in their stationary section.
It’s called Blossom Storage Drawer Set and it’s only £7.49 online! Mmmm..I paid £15 for it! Damn it. I might place an order as they are so cheap and gorgeous.
I also discovered that they have other prints as well which they didn’t have before. The cupcake and the nightingale ones are cute as well! Check them out.
I got mine online like nearly a year ago. You can find them in stores but only in big ones I believe.
Anyway, they store a huge amount of things and the drawers are perfect in depth and height for make up. Here are the photos for you to see what I’m talking about.
This is how I have it all set up. The drawer set is on top of more boxes: in the bottom one I have some tights, in the middle one I have some woolly hats and in the one below the drawers I keep my wedding bouquet which I dried…yep, 5 years ago and it’s still very pretty all dried.
As you can see I have some stuff on top of the drawers. It’s ok as it is now but I don’t think would be a good idea to put anything heavier than that.
In the first drawer I put things that I don’t really use either because I don’t like them or because they let me down somehow.
In the second I put some face stuff. Most of my face stuff is on my dressing table so this is just things that I don’t use on a daily basis.
In the third drawer I have some of my pigments and glitters: MAC, Inglot, Sleek, Collection 2000, etc. These are probably the ones that I use less. I have a nice little tin thing with all my Barry M pigments on my dressing table and these are the ones I use the most.
In the first drawer I have most of my blushes, bronzers and some highlighters. The ones I use the most are on my dressing table.
In the second drawer I have all my paint pots by Mac and double ware crème eye shadows by Estee Lauder. I also have some cream eye shadows by Elf, Revlon, Rimmel and from Urban Decay.
In this drawer I have most of my eye shadows. There is a bit of everything here: Mac, Bourjois, Bobbi Brown, Milani, 4 palettes of the runway eye shadows from Milani which I love, some UK beauty palettes, some Nars, some Urban Decay, a Chanel palette a Dior palette, n7, loose pigments. Etc.
As you can see you can put quite a bit in this little box! It’s also very cute so it will style your room as well!
I hope this post was useful.
See ya soon
